Cory's childhood was surrounded by a variety of people. His father and uncles were horse trainers and he began apprenticing with them when he was nine years old. From a family of veterans, Cory learned honor, honesty, wilderness survival, and reading life situations. At 12, he began a life-long practice of marital arts including Judo, Tae Kwan Do, Jarate, and Jujitsu. In 1995, Cory became SWAT certified. in 1996, Cory began Zieske Horse Training and Shoeing. Helping find and resuce horses for Betty became his passion 4 years ago when he rescued Smokey, a young horse abandoned in a feed lot. Cory rehabilitates and trains the horses for use at HHH.
